How our Genetic Counselors help you
We have carefully screened and trained our own team of Genetic Counselors. Each of them has a master of science degree and is board-certified in genetic counseling. Beyond that, they have helped build our service from the ground up and have a complete understanding of this new kind of genetic testing. They specialize in explaining your personal results from our full-genome scans for complex conditions and helping you integrate those results into your overall health and wellness plan.
Our counselors have access to our team of scientists and medical director for follow-up or clarification if needed. They are familiar with how our laboratory operates and with the technology we use to report your results.
We also select our counselors for their proven ability to counsel by telephone. However, if you should need genetic counseling in person, we can help you locate a trained genetic professional in your area who is familiar with the services we offer.
