Physician Assistant Jacklyn Lowe received her Masters of Medical Science in 2007 from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She joined the Lifewellness Institute staff in 2008, bringing over 18 years of experience in sports medicine.
Born in Concord, CA and raised in San Diego, Ms. Lowe received her B.S. in Psychology and her M.S. in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Oregon. Following graduation, Ms. Lowe worked for two years in the Rehabilitation Department of Pacific Beach Urgent Care Clinic. She then worked concomitantly for seven years in the Rehabilitation Department of the University of California San Diego and as an Athletic Trainer for University of San Diego High School. Prior to returning to school for her second master’s degree, Ms. Lowe served for five years as an Assistant Professor of Athletic Training for Point Loma Nazarene University.
In addition to her duties at Lifewellness Institute, Ms. Lowe serves as Assistant Medical Director for the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon and volunteers with the Baja Animal Shelter.
