Bruce E. Landon, M.D.

Dr. Landon is an associate professor of health care policy at Harvard Medical School and an associate professor of medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he practices internal medicine. Dr. Landon's primary research interest involves assessing the impact of different characteristics of physician and health care organizations, ranging from health plans to physician group practices, on the provision of health care. He also studies care for patients with HIV and the experiences of state Medicaid agencies with managed care.

Dr. Landon graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a major in finance. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and an MBA with a concentration in health care management from the Wharton School. He also received an M.S. in health policy from the Harvard School of Public Health.
