Lawrence B. Leisure
Larry Leisure is the Managing Partner of the Silicon Valley based AccelusHealth Partners and serves as a Senior Advisor to Ingenix Consulting and a Venture Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
He has had a distinguished career in healthcare serving in a number of senior consulting and management roles. His consulting leadership positions have included Ingenix Consulting where he served as Senior Vice President for Payer Markets, Accenture (1996-2003) where he was the Global Managing Partner for the Health Vertical, Price Waterhouse (1991-1996) where he led their Managed Care Unit and Towers Perrin (1984-1990) where he led the Group Benefits and Managed Care practices. In these consulting and consulting leadership roles he has served as client partner to many of the largest US health plans and PBMs as well as many of the largest US employers.
In 2003 he joined one his Accenture clients, Kaiser Permanente, where he was a Senior Vice President and oversaw the sales & account management functions. From 2007 to 2009 he was President of iMetrikus, an early stage bioscience company focused on infusing active biometrics in provider, payer and purchaser sponsored engagement and disease programs.
He is well known industry leader and innovator. In 2009 he co founded Healthspottr, a new media company focused on the acceleration of innovation in health care. He sits on the boards of several health information and bioscience companies including Crescendo Bioscience, Medpedia, Navigenics, Seriosity, and Tethys Bioscience.
He received his AB in Economics from Stanford University and his MBA in Finance from the
University of California, Los Angeles.
He resides in Atherton, California with his wife Bren.
