Amy DuRoss

Prior to joining Navigenics, Ms. DuRoss served as chief of staff for the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM). CIRM was established in 2004 by the passage of Proposition 71, which provides $3 billion in funding for stem cell research and facilities at California institutions and companies. She also played a key role in the genesis of CIRM as vice chairman and executive director of Proposition 71, conceiving and drafting the initiative, raising $30 million in campaign funding, building the country's largest patient advocacy initiative coalition and managing all strategic and implementation aspects of the campaign.

Earlier in her career, Ms. DuRoss led a service providing online knowledge management resources and tools for governments of developing nations at the World Bank Group, and she managed numerous business activities as an early employee at two e-commerce companies: E-Loan, Inc. and GovOne Solutions. Ms. DuRoss graduated from Stanford University and received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She is a founding board member of Americans for Cures. She was a Coro Fellow in 1998.
