Matthew Garrett

Mr. Garrett has over 15 years of experience in Finance, Operations, Marketing and Business Development for medical technology, bio-pharmaceutical and genetic research companies. Prior to joining Navigenics, Mr. Garrett worked at several venture start-ups including Corventis, where he served as Director of Business Development, and Cogentus, where he held the position of Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Before joining the venture start-up space, he held various positions at Affymetrix, the genetic array manufacturer, and spent over nine years in various corporate and operation roles at Guidant Corporation, the cardiac rhythm management and vascular intervention company. 

Mr. Garrett earned his MBA in Finance from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. He received his B.A. degree in Finance with a minor in Sociology from The University of Iowa.
