In response to the needs of healthcare professionals, Navigenics has developed the ability for physicians – with the approval of their patients – to access their patients’ genetic test results online. Our Web-based portal provides physicians with easy access to health condition and pharmacogenomic information, action steps, and original scientific research. Access to the physician portal is free to physicians who register their practice.

For patients choosing to receive a Navigenics genetic testing service through their physician, this portal allows the physician to integrate patients’ genetic information into personalized health plans designed to help diagnose early or prevent a number of health conditions. The portal also allows participating physicians to integrate personalized pharmacogenomic results into a patient’s medication decisions, optimizing drug effectiveness and reducing the risk of side effects.
