Myth:

If I know my family's health history, I don't need a genetic test.

Truth:

Family history is only one part of your health future. For example, most cases of breast cancer are found in women who have no family history.

Genetic counseling

Our board-certified genetic experts are available to help you at any time

Our Genetic Counselors are healthcare professionals who help you understand what genetic information means for you and for your family.

Our counselors are available as your primary contact before you have enrolled and after, so that you have the support you need throughout the genetic testing experience. We will give you a toll-free counseling number to call at your convenience. During your phone appointments, your counselor will have confidential access to your Navigenics genetic test results, so you can review them together. You can also have your doctor call with questions about Navigenics’ genetic testing services.
