Our professional staff of Genetic Counselors can help you get the answers you need to make the most informed decision for your health.* Here are some of the questions you may want to ask your Genetic Counselor:

  • Is genetic testing right for me?
  • What will this type of genetic analysis tell me?
  • Does my family history matter?
  • How can learning about my DNA impact my health decisions?
  • How can my DNA help me know what medications may work best for me?
  • What can I do with the results of my genetic analysis?
  • Can you help me understand my results?
  • How can I share my genetic test results with my doctor?

You can schedule your genetic counseling session in one of two ways:

  • If you would like to schedule an appointment by phone, please contact us at (866) 522-1585 (US and Canada) or +1 (650) 585-7743 between the hours of 9am and 5pm PST. We will arrange a time that is convenient for you.
  • If you are already a Navigenics member, you can set up a genetic counseling appointment online. Log in to your member account, click on the “My Account” tab in the upper right-hand corner of any page, and then click on the "Talk to your expert" link on the left. From there, you’ll be able to schedule your session.

*If you live in the state of New York, state law may require that you talk with your doctor about your results. But our Genetic Counselors remain available to consult with your physician if needed.
