How our services work
Our genetic analysis services make it easy for you to uncover your genetic predispositions for a wide variety of health conditions and medication responses – and help motivate you to make the most of those insights.
- Sign up for Navigenics’ services through your physician or corporate wellness program. If you’d like to order through a physician, you can find a physician already participating in the Navigenics service, or help your doctor learn more about working with Navigenics by sharing the physician resources we provide. If you’d like to know if your employer offers the Navigenics service, please contact our Member Service team at memberservice@navigenics.com or by calling (866) 522-1585 / +1 (650) 585-7743 between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
- You’ll receive a saliva collection kit by mail once you've signed up. Provide your saliva sample using the collection tube and send it back to our lab in the envelope provided.
- Our CLIA-certified lab analyzes your DNA. This process typically takes about two to three weeks.
- We'll send you an email when the results of your genetic analysis are ready. You can log in to your secure online account and view a comprehensive report of your results.*
- Our Genetic Counselors are available to go through your report with you, answering any questions you may have. We can also work with you and your doctor to help you understand your genetic information as you develop personalized health strategies.
